Where does the money go?
Shiloh Baptist Church prepares and adopts an annual budget. This budget is carefully prepared with detailed planning spanning many months. The budget is an operating tool that guides our church in ministry, missions, and operations.
Is there accountability?
Yes. After our budget is prepared for the year, it is brought before the congregation during our Annual Business Meeting. If you are a member you can request a packet from the church office.
Is online giving secure?
Absolutely! Our Website attains the top level of PCI Compliancy Standards – PCI Level 1 Compliance which is used by credit card and major financial institutions. In other words, this means that all transactions are maintained in a secure environment.
When is the contribution charged to my checking account or debit card?
Transactions usually take 2-3 business days, so contributions scheduled on Friday through Sunday may not show up on your account until early the following week.
Will I still receive regular contribution statements from the church?
Yes. You will receive a statement for each contribution that you make online. The church will also continue to send contribution statements to your address on file for tax purposes.
Are there fees associated with giving online?
There are no fees associated with online giving for the donor.
Will I be able to give to special events or pay for special events online?
Yes. When these events occur, you will have an opportunity to give online.
